  • What used to be an OpenGL 3.3 renderer now requires OpenGL 4.3 (or 4.2 + ARB_shader_storage_buffer_object extension). Still incomplete and experimental, set renderer=4 in the configuration file to try this renderer.
  • Downloading and loading files now use two separate queues so a slow download will no longer stop cached files from loading
  • Detect sRGB rendering capability when using the Direct3D 9 renderer
  • Better error handling for both Direct3D renderers
  • The texture_lod_bias config file option now works with the Direct3D 9 renderer
  • Detect maximum supported texture size for OpenGL and don't try to load larger textures, this prevents crashes on some graphics drivers
  • Support for loading gzipped DDS files (with file name ending in .dds.gz)
