Text of the Act
Preamble - An Act to amend various legislations to abolish boards and committees and to transfer its duties to His Majesty's Honorable Privy Council.
- Tourism Board, Transport Planning Board, and Education Committee shall be abolished and its functions/duties to be transferred to His Majesty's Privy Council.
- All legislations containing terms "Tourism Board", "Transport Planning Board", and "Education Committee" shall be amended to substitute them for "Privy Council"
- All sections of these legislations dealing with time and date of meetings for the said bodies now thereupon abolished are hereby repealed; Privy Council shall meet at least once a month, with time and date to be determined by the Lord President.
- All sections of these legislations dealing with appointment of these said bodies are hereby repealed.
- Quorum for Privy Council in order to meet and transact the business shall be fixed at minimum of three members.
