Text of the Act
Preamble- An Act to regulate the parliamentary calendar.
- Parliament shall meet once a month during period from September to May and twice a month during period from May to August.
- A committee shall be created, to be composed of Speaker of the House of Commons (or Speaker of the Parliament if meeting as single body), Leader of the Opposition, and the Prime Minister, who shall be empowered to decide on whether to delay the parliament meeting if the circumstances warranted.
