Contracting Act

Text of the Act

Preamble - An Act to regulate the monetary aspect of contracting for services by His Majesty’s government departments and to authorize the same departments to make contracts.

1. His Majesty’s government departments shall announce bidding submission for a contract for a period of at least fifteen days in which sealed bids shall be submitted to the His Majesty’s Secretary of State who made the application, upon which the Secretary of State shall select the lowest bid at the close of the period.
2. Sheriff’s departments shall be granted right to make contracts for service under same rules as set out above.
