Boolean Values

A Boolean value is a value that can have one of two possible states:

  • True — enabled, active, or valid.
  • False — disabled, inactive, or not valid.

Boolean values are commonly represented in the following ways:

  • 1 = True
  • 0 = False
  • true = True
  • false = False
  • yes = True
  • no = False
  • on = True
  • off = False

Most of these are interchangable.
