Text of the Act

Preamble - An Act to amend Sheriff Qualifications Act of 2015.

  1. The requirement for a person to be eligible for the sheriff's office that a said person must have a degree in criminal justice from any educational institutions accredited by the Royal Charter shall be removed.
  2. Changes as provided by this legislation shall be construed to have taken effect retroactively as of First day of January, Two Thousand Sixteen.
