Text of the Act

Preamble - An Act to fix the quorum for which the Parliament may transact business at its meeting.

  1. Quorum, defined as a number of members present necessary for the Parliament to transact the business, shall be fixed at three.
  2. The quorum may be changed by an Act of Parliament at any time.
  3. Quorum may not be set to a number lower than three and it is strongly recommended that quorum being changed in future should be set to an odd number to avoid voting ties.
