Blizzard is a world in Virtual Paradise. It is open for public building and the building theme is General.
History
Established on 26 October 2012, Nibbles originally conceived the idea for the world and thus can be rightly called the founder of Blizzard. Tom did the construction of the original Ground Zero for the world. Construction for this ground zero, dubbed version 2.0, was begun on 29 April 2013 under direction of Legion with some assistance from Roy Curtis (who did the ruins near the center of GZ), Tom, and Edwin. The Kingdom of Palmshire would be established during this time, influencing the development of VP's flagship world for years to come.
By 2013, refugees from the fallen city of Summerville within AWTeen, fleeing from ongoing Iceman vandal attacks, began to setup shop within Blizzard by creating a brand new home thousands of miles away from the main developed area of the world. Probes from Iceman members, whom continued to plague AW for a few more months until their collapse, would unsuccessfully try to establish a chapter due in part towards the moderation staff's past history with them. 2015 would become the year of migrations starting with a growing AW power called the XR would establish the colony of Victoria while continuing it's unexpected success story within AW as a thriving building community. After unknown hacking attempts and lack of response from AWI crippled the capital city of Fantasia, Victoria would declare independence and form the second largest nation in VP, the Victoria Republic, while another aspiring nation called Lemerican Federation would move months later into Blizzard.
2016 would see the creation of several more cities such as Panthera and Gabrieleville, while three largest building communities would continue their show of unity until August when Lemerican Federation and Victoria would declare discontent with the supposedly unchecked power of Palmshire over the path of VP. This led to the near dissolution of Palmshire as well as further embarrass the VP community on a public scale within it's social media front as well as poison the idea of role-play nation-building. Regardless, Victoria would also grow to include a former rival, Phoenix City, within it's republic. The revival of Summerville as another influential city within the world would also occur a few months later, helping fill the gap left behind by the fallen Palmshire community.
