New Beachfield is a city in Blizzard. It is currently an associated community & county of Victoria as of 2023.
Overview & History
The city of New Beachfield was formed in 2013 by Sarah & Jen originally as a continuation of the city of Beachfield in AW. For a long time, it was also the furthest of the established cities within the Kingdom of Palmshire, being connected to New Cypress Hollow & considered more as an extension of that area. Development of New Beachfield itself had remained at a glacial level for a long duration, not being helped by the departure of Jen from the community in 2016, leaving only Sarah as the remaining leader.
By 2016, New Beachfield suddenly found itself in close proximity to the rapid development of two new areas, Victoria & Cannaville, who were both part of the Victorian Republic. Both Palmshire & the republic would collapse by 2018, but NB would still retain closer ties to the city of Victoria going forward. It ultimately became a full-fledged county within the region of Victoria by 2023, the organizational successor to the republic, and was granted extensive patches of land as part of an agreement between Sarah, Courier & Ry. New Beachfield would also join the Commonwealth of Independent Cities that same year.
