Tower of Terror: System Purge is an on-rails shooter attraction developed by GSK exclusively for Virtual Paradise, part of the fourteenth generation of the Tower of Terror series of attractions. It is the second attempt at creating an attraction set in the world of TRON, following TRON Lightcycle Power Run.
Synopsis
In this adventure inspired by the world of TRON, riders are transported onto The Grid, the computer system that powers the Tower of Terror simulation and The Hollywood Tower Hotel itself. Tasked with eliminating glitches that threaten the system's stability, riders are sent on a high speed journey through the darkened hallways of The Hollywood Tower Hotel, as they attempt to rid the system of its imperfections, and restore power for the first time in decades.
