Flagg
Tom Fournier, better known by his in-game handle Flagg (Citizen #299024), was a long-time staff member and community figure at Active Worlds (AW) during the late 1990s and 2000s. Operating out of Active Worlds Inc.'s headquarters in Newburyport, Massachusetts, Flagg served as a key liaison between corporate management and the platform's user base.

Curation & Publications
- Flagg's Worlds to Watch: Flagg was the author of the regular feature column Flagg's Worlds to Watch in the official Active Worlds Newsletter. The column highlighted innovative, user-created 3D worlds, drawing attention to architectural achievements, unique world mechanics, and community projects.
- Community Outreach: He acted as a central point of contact for world submissions, community feedback, and staff support.
Departure & Return
- Flagg initially stepped down from Active Worlds Inc. in early February 2003.
- He later returned to Active Worlds Inc. around 2006–2008, resuming staff duties, organizing events, managing newsletter communications, and overseeing community initiatives.
