	The city of Victoria ~~(by extension, the Victorian Republic)~~ was created in 2015 after declaring it's independence from the AW-based XR, a similar union of cities and worlds. ~~During~~ the ~~republican era~~, Victoria ~~was~~ the ~~second largest nation within the VP universe, and consisted~~ of ~~six cities at its apex. The republic bordered~~ the ~~[[Kingdom of Palmshire]]~~, which ~~surrounded the capital~~ to ~~the north and south, and extended into the Eternan snow caps. Although its capital was extremely small, the city~~ of ~~Victoria was the largest active city~~ that was not ~~apart of the neighboring kingdom~~ at the time~~. Although nominally a federal republic,~~ the ~~government of Victoria had a supreme leader whom acted as head of state~~. ~~The powers of the supreme leader were kept in balance due~~ to ~~the peerage system~~, ~~in which one or two peers were chosen from the leader of the cities of Victoria, Phoenix City, New Ave, Krynn, and Cannaville. The peers were called in~~ to vote whether to approve or decline major decisions made by the supreme leader. Much of early Victoria's history was surrounded by if it should join the rest of the central Blizzard community by uniting with the Kingdom of Palmshire, which ~~it ultimately did not in 2016. In July 2016,~~ the ~~republic admitted it's first non~~-~~VP member, which quickly moved into VP after AWTeen was locked down~~ for ~~building~~. ~~In January 2017, land-grants were given for the creation of a new, provisional member-state of Cannaville.
