Much of early Victoria's history was surrounded by if it should join the rest of the central Blizzard community by uniting with the Kingdom of Palmshire, which it ultimately did not in 2016. In July 2016, the republic admitted it's first non-VP member, which quickly moved into VP after AWTeen was locked down for building. In January 2017, land-grants were given for the creation of a new, provisional member-state of Cannaville. In November 2017, the second AW-based member, Krynn, was accepted into the republic, and remained the lone AW-based member for the remainder of the republic's duration.

Victoria, or officially the Republic of Victoria, was a federation of six cities (styled as states) in VP and AW from 2015 until it's dissolution in 2018.

History

The republic was created in 2015 after declaring it's independence from the AW-based XR, a similar union of cities and worlds. The republic is the second largest nation within the VP universe, and consists of two cities. The republic bordered the Kingdom of Palmshire, which surrounded the capital to the north and south, and extends into the Eterna snow caps. Although it's capital was extremely small, it was the largest active city that was not apart of the neighboring kingdom at the time. Although nominally a federal republic, the government of Victoria had a supreme leader whom acts as head of state. The powers of the supreme leader are kept in balance due to the peerage system, in which one or two peers are chosen from the leader of the cities of Victoria, Phoenix City, New Ave, Krynn, and Cannaville. The two peers are called in to vote whether to approve or decline major decisions made by the supreme leader.

Dissolution

In February 2018, the republic was dissolved and it's members were reorganized into a loose organization of independent cities. In the republic's later period, interest was lost amongst the leaders of Cannaville and Phoenix City with their presence in VP declining, and with nation roleplay on the decline, the republic no longer had much of a purpose to continue existing.

Members

The republic had six entities within it's government, three of which were based in Blizzard and one being exclusive to Alphaworld having been full states. All members of the republic enjoyed high autonomy as well as their own choice of localized government, although captaincies functioned as territories that only had representation at the pleasure of the high governor.
