The Palmshire general election, June 2012, is an election, first since Representation of the People Act, to return members to serve in the House of Commons of the 5th Parliament of Palmshire to be summoned after the establishment of the Parliament in 2010. This is also first general election for Mooses and Socialists to participate in. Lord Tokeington led his Moose party to victory in this election, achieving the record as first political party to win an outright parliamentary majority without need to form a coalition, with 4 seats in the Commons. Thirteen days after the end of polling, Tokeington was appointed by King Legion I to replace Lord Arcadia as the Prime Minister.

Dates of Election

The general election was held between 24 June 2012 and 15 July 2012.
