Legolas, 1st Duke of Westover was a member of the Parliament. He was known before 2011 by the title Duke of Stirling and also held a subsidiary title of Baron Berwick. He was the leader of Toupée Party and later joined the Communist Party after former was dissolved. He was also the Mayor of Berwick and later retired from Palmshire House of Lords on the 10 August 2013.

Business career

Westover formed a company called Circle of Peace with the Duke of Rockford in December 1999 and was its chairman and director for its entire history until its dissolution. The company were later dissolved and all of its assets transferred to newly formed East Winter Company on 1 October 2010, of which he sat on its board of directors.

Military career

Westover was appointed the Captain-General of the Stirling Regiment of Artillery in the Palmshire Army on 7 November 2010. He retired from the military on 10 August 2013.

Political career

Westover first entered Palmshire politics when he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Palmshire on 4 December 2009 only to have resigned on 17 January 2010. He was later appointed the Palmshire Ambassador on 1 December 2010 and served in that office until it was abolished on 1 April 2011. He was created the Duke of Stirling on 1 September 2010 and took up his seat on Parliament on 21 April.

Following the day Lord Arcadia took office as Prime Minister on 26 June, Westover was appointed the Foreign Secretary in his Cabinet. He was later created the Duke of Westover on 3 August and also the Baron Berwick on 20 March 2012.

Retirement

Westover retired from the House of Lords and also disclaimed all of his titles of nobility on 10 August 2013 per the Peerages Act, which was passed in 2012. Because he did not have a heir to inherit those peerages, those titles became extinct, a first in history of Palmshire nobility. The King had reportedly held him in high favor and was dismayed at his departure.
