The Retreat is a modern five story masterpiece, featuring four above ground levels and one basement level, all accessible from an elevator located in the center of the main complex. Notable features of The Retreat include a dock with a nearby lighthouse, an outdoor stage, private cinema, helipad, and a secluded guest house. It was in development in a private world for nearly three years.
The Retreat uses a unique biophilic design element that blends the natural island environment with a man-made living space. Nearly every room has an uninterrupted connection to the outside with an incredible view of the surrounding forest.
It is the primary residence of GSK.
